Norwalk, CT / Las Vegas, NV - Teel Technologies and Wild PCS are proud to announce a partnership to advance mobile device forensic training by enabling examiners to access data at the chip level. Together, the two companies are offering a class that teaches how to physically dismantle or rebuild devices, and obtain a physical image of the data contained in memory.
Held at the Wild PCS training facilities in Las Vegas, Nevada, the five day course incorporates Wild PCS's expertise in device repair and disassembly, and combines it with a class on data recovery and analysis by the team at Teel Technologies.
Designed to provide the examiner with a solid understanding of device construction and best ways to provide power if damaged or soaked, as well as disassemble and remove chips, the class combines essential components of Wild PC's iPhone repair and Advanced courses that are ideally suited for the forensic examiner.
Training on how to retrieve information from chips follows with lessons on obtaining a physical image using the available tools and techniques. The current course focuses on pin-attached NAND memory, the common memory found in many mobile phones and flash memory devices.
