I took this course from a Law Enforcement perspective and I have to admit, this was one of the most fulfilling courses that I have taken. If you are involved in computer forensics, you need to know the parts and components of a computer; with that said, if you are involved in mobile phone forensics, you should know all the ins and outs of all the parts of a mobile phone. That is what this course does for you! You will learn what the various parts are on the logic board, just like a computers motherboard; you will learn where and what the mobile devices CPU, controller and NAND/NOR memory looks like and what it does, just like a computers CPU and hard drive does; you will learn how to repair a broken or water damaged mobile device to get it operational again in order to recover user data; and there is much more involved with this course. Tom and Daniel are great instructors and have a great sense of humour. The networking is also a great advantage with taking this course, you are learning with others who are in the cell phone industry that you can communicate with later to help you out with service/server and parts concerns. Great job WILDPCS!
